I GOT A SCANNER!!!!!!!!!!!!

My godparents bought a new printer! The old one, bought 6 years ago, was also a all-in-one printer BUT, the faxing and scanninｇ functions were spoilt.

So, to celebrate this, I spent the day scanning stuff! I'm preparing for a special occasion a month down! =D I was acting like a thief because I was doing so while the whole family's out...otherwise, I'll be shot with a "why are you wasting your time doing this? Sch's starting! Go read up! You're still so unsure about every about Uni!" or "HOW much did you spend on all these photos? So many!" for sure.

And I was browsing through my photos (of Arashi, of course) and I realised in essence I have four types of photos.

1. 可愛いタイプ　Kawaii shots

2. メンバーラブ・タイプ　Member love shots

3. かっこいいタイプ　Kakkoii shots

4. バカみたい・タイプ　Baka shots

For baka shots, you can find Arashi very amusing-looking. Some people don't like to spend $ buying such shots because the boys usually don't look very suave inside...but, I can't resist! Because that is what our boys are deshou?

Here are some scans!! I think most of you have them already, but...My trap is member love..I simply can't resist anything that displays member love. And, the epitome of member love is 24 hour tv!!! I bought these paparazzi pictures yesterday...T.T Angeline bought those for other members, so I only have Jun and Sho's...

I actually composed this entry last night, but vox couldn't let me post this as a public post for some weird reason...but now I can, so here you go!

Save me. I've gone without sleep for...(omg it took me like 20 sec to calculate O.o) 42 hours...To think I'm still very sick. >_< Aniwaes, not in a clear state of mind right now, so pardon any typos/blabbering.

I bought the WWL photobook!! YES! It was out at Kino today (yesterday)! About 24 SGD, but the book is THICK and BIG..bigger than the Arashi AAA and the ISWAK one..loads of pictures..LOADS man. Very worth the buy, really. Loads of contents and even a "behind the scene" section..one of the best drama photobook I've seen. Then it came with stickers and postcards which are only found with the first press version. XP

Aniwaes, I haven't got a chance to really read it yet..will do so when I'm more energetic. But what I did was to browse through it and grab hold of some scenes which have not aired yet. I captured the pictures using my dear digicam. NO WAY am I ever putting any books into any scanner. T.T So the pictures ain't crisp clear..but well, my intention is to share the plot development, not the graphics, so who cares. Aniwaes, I made some effects so the pictures won't look so pixelated and ugly.

My first time doing scanlations, so don't mind them looking so...weird ne?

I'm watermarking them all, because I don't want any unhappiness to arise again, and well, I always do that for my artwork and scans...this is no different. The only difference is that the watermarks I put are really huge. I've never put them so big and so visible before. Well, all the better for those blind to red fonts.

Okay, time for my bed...I need to catch up with 2 days' worth of sleep..but I need to be awake in 7 hours' time, for driving! ah..driving..something scary happened during driving earlier..I'll update more tomorrow! Nitez people..

I was creating the strips for ep 7 when I remembered that WWL's ep 8 (by tv cutting) was airing at 10!! And so I started a frantic search for a website to watch it, real-time. Thanks to the bunch of people at the forum, I managed to watch it! THE NET IS AN AMAZING THING! If oly we could do the same for Jdoramas. T.T And yes, just to watch it, I even d/l-ed a program...which I don't usually do. >_<""'

Well, I've been on a 'capping mission' and so, while this is entirely unplanned, I'm posting up some caps from the episode. I've translated the lines inside the caps too. The quality of the caps ain't very good and I'll most prob redo them when I get my vcd. Howver, the main aim of this batch of caps isn't for graphic purposes, so just close one eye ne.

Basically, I've only capped the interesting scenes and made sure that I included the whole conversation that was taking place, so people who didn't get to catch it yet or those who don't understand Mandarin can understand. (Now we understand how it's like to watch entire series without subs ne. XD Having said that, please note that I didn't cap anything that had been showed in the "episode 8 preview" clip shown last week.

Look how Jia Di changed Huo Da...if it had been the past, he would have yelled at Xiao Nan for disturbing the tranquility of the place and not initiate the hug. DARN IT the comforting hug is only meant for Jia Di!!

=) Look at the second last cap...doesn't Jia Di sound a little...jealous?

How could Huo Da say that to Jia Di? It was really mean..maybe he didn't mean for it to sound that way, but it really hurt.

If you really treat her as a friend, you won't say such things of her no matter how angry you are. You made it sound like Jia Di was something undesirable!!!

And the last 3rd cap made me really mad. Huo Da, if you don't do something really, really sweet for Jia Di soon, I'll be rooting for Huo Ya already! (although I know it'll be HD x JD in the end).

Fangirling does takes one's mind off things..it's a temporary escape from reality...

I refer to my post a week ago titled 「Hanakimi needs slightly better casting for a few minor characters」...

Then, I commented that the guy playing Senior Nanba didn't look very convincing as a playboy. This was the picture I based my comment on:

But I also did some googling and mag browsing, and found some other better pictures of him....which made me feel slightly better about having him in the role.

I saw some other pictures of him in this month's mags again! Below are some of them (From Gyao)...I thought he looked much better than in the scans on the left!!

 

In short, I care ALOT about a person's hair.

Even for Jun, if the hair sux, I won't buy anything bearing his picture with the hairstyle. Like how I don't have a single extension picture. XP

 

 Oh! And don't you like he bears some resemblance to Ueda in this picture below??? XD

And to end it off, TOMA!

ARGH why can't the picture get any bigger than this???!

OMG isn't he like urber cuteeeeeeeee!!! I haven't watched hanakimi yet. =/ But. But. Recently, the mags seem to be focusing more on Toma since they had been focusing sooo much on Shun and Maki in the past issues (not that I'm complaining). There's Toma EVERYWHERE! haha! But, I feel guilty. I've three pictures of Hiro (above) up, but only one of Toma!!! And worse still, none of my dear Shun and none of Arashi and none of Sakumiya! Man..my mags are piling up...I'll got 'scan' them all one day!! >_< But, I've still got so much subbing to do!! save me!

I bought two mags today, and thought I could share it with you guys. But well, I'm still saving up for a scanner, so these shots were taken by my digicam, and hence some are not so good...but oh well, just have a look and if you like it, go buy it! XDD

I was near the Japanese books service counter when the person at the counter was answering a call from a customer. It must have been destiny, because I had gone to Kino at 10am and bought myself a copy of TVNavi (Nino on cover)...but I went back there at around 2pm because my godmom wanted to go get something. And coincidentally, when I walked past the service counter, the person was taking down a reservation for a certain magazine. I looked over, and saw Sho and Nino!! lol "Yes, Sakurai and Nino on cover," she said into the phone receiver. She knows them. ^_^ And so, once she finished taking the order, I asked her if there were any more copies left ( I didn't see the mag at the shelf, so I guess it had just arrived). When she asked me how many I needed, I told her three, and I got them!! But then, after calling Jolie to check if she had helped me reserve, I put them back onto the shelves. =.= because she said she did! And then, 5 mins later, she caled me to tell me that the person she made a reservation with wrote down "1 copy" instead of 3, and so I rushed back in, hoping that no one had taken the mags away yet. Well, I had, on purpose, put the mags in a very very open spot. XD Help to promote the mag yo!! But fortunately, all 3 copies were still there yay! PHEW

I was working on photoshop and chatting with HiMiTsU on MSN when she suddenly sent me something. I was busy and didn't really look closely at the thing she sent, until I opened it.

I had set my computer to open all picture files using Photoshop by default, and so it opened up right there, where I was working on some stuff. I got stunned, blinked, and closed the window 2 seconds later. It was a natural reflex. I'm not so comfortable with such shots.XP And yeah, I shut the programme without saving my work. ><

I think Jun is hot when he doesn't try too hard to look the part. Like in An An, he was baring it all, so this picture shouldn't be that shocking for me. But it is! I find this much more sexy than Anan, because there is room for you to imagine LOL. And I repeat myself, he should stop camwhoring like he's been doing lately! Aniwaes, some plugging. I took pictures of 4 photos I bought from Japan, and the results are horrible. But the pictures are cute. So just look at them and take in the Arashi メンバラブ and 可愛い-ness ne! The next thing I need to save up for is a good scanner, so I can share more pictures and scans!!! T.T

And one of my friends asked me to crop out some 'bases' for her to make a banner out of. *whispers* lazy piggy! *cough* Aniwaes, yeah..she asked me for a couply, and I couldn't stop once I started. So here they are! These are bases, raw pictures which I just touched up a little on (like..intensified the colours, did some minor effects etc etc), and you take them to make banners/avatars! ^_^ No need to credit since I didn't do much. But please comment if used ne! And the vertical bases are to be used sidely, ne. (^.^"")

haha I should start make more bases for Arashi/jun, and make some banners out of the bases too! omg aiba is so cute! I can just die doing avatars/banners/wallies on him. well, i die very easily, when it comes to arashi.

On a side note, I went around delivering mags today. No I didn't get a new job. I was delivering mags I bought in Japan for people here. I met sunsweet and she was so cute! Friendly. And she like nino. But due to an overdosage of Jun from someone (LOL),..you get me ne. She said to come out one day to fangirl. Oh man...sunsweet chan you don't know what you're heading for. LOL.

Went out with my arashi family on Saturday. Here are the pictures:

 

Us outside Cineleisure at Orchard. I had wanted to take photos of the KimuTaku poster but was too paiseh because there were so many people over there! So after much pleading, my three mates agreed to 'pose for a picture'. XDD

Aniwaes, LOOK man LOOK! How big is that poster?!?!?! Ok not really that big, because I've seen much bigger ones of Arashi, KATTUN, SMAP etc in Japan, and I've heard from this dj on mtv channel that when he went to Japan previously, he could see a huge poster of Jun in Bambino hanging on the building opposite when he looks out of the window. The poster was said to be at least 4/5 storeys high!!! *faints*

 

But then, to have a jap endorse something in Singapore is something BIG ne.

 

But I finally threw away all my fears when we left the building after spending a few hours inside (see below for more details). XDDD omg lah look at this! Since when have you seen advertising of this scale in Singapore featuring a Jap artiste?? Oh well, I can't complain, since the majority of Singaporeans seems to be stll stuck in the early millenium that Kimura is the hottest Jap artiste. I agree that he is hot (Wait for me to dig out this urber hot photoshoot of him in Singapore's UWeekly and post it here!) but there are also other mentionable artistes! (You know who I'm refering to ne)

 

 

So I was like, "WAH He is hot!"

Angeline remarked, "Go tear it down later and bring it home!"

Me, "Nonono..later the police come catch me! I'll wait till Arashi's famous enough to be on commercials in Singapore, then take the risk to steal their posters!"

 

Ok as mentioned above, I spent a couple of hours in Cine with my arashi family, at this shop called Mise x*clusive, more commonly called "The JE Shop". Our usual hangout. XD The owner can even remember us already! Aniwaes, I saw this back issue of POPOLO 2002/3 and had wanted to buy it, but then just as I took it off the shelves, Yen took it from me and the rest was history. *cries a litre of tears* While we were in the shop, the tv inside was playing HIG con! And the first thing we saw was Sho's solo "Touch Me Now". I was never s fan of the song nor the performance, because it was too sensual for my liking then. But then, OMG I don't know what's wrong with me man! I suddenly felt that Sho was darn hot when he does that action - lifting the bottom of his tee slightly using his index fingers and then bringing his finger to his lips, all in one smooth action. O.O And that got me to dig out this unofficial photo of him, which I had bought out of impulse 1/2 weeks ago:

Don't you agree?? Sho is hot! XD My camera does him no justice. (I need to get a scanner man!) But like what Tery (大野さん) said, he was behaving a little like a man-whore in the performance. It was a little, but I just like that finger movement omg! Peek-a-boo!

Oh aniwaes, here's one more photo, since I'm at it. Nino's cheeky expression. Specially dedicated to my dear Jolie 姉ちゃん!

Jolie bought a lot of things from mise, and one of what was this ring file which had been there for very long! After seeing what was inside, I was regreting not buying!! I had thought that it was just a file with the guy's photos on the cover. But NO! There were dividers inside, and on the dividers were individual photos! This was what made me regret:

By the way, I've decided to make full use of this vox and post some stuff here as well, other than just graphics, hence this post. XD I don't think I should expose my 'normal' friends to any Arashi related fangirl rants anymore (which they've gotten so used to already, they just skip it. XP)

Instead of going to Tery's place for Arashi dvd marathon yesterday, I went to MOS with my pals. >_< It was my second try at clubbing, and as expected, I hate it. ARGH. The only thing which I felt was better this time was that the place was much bigger than DXO, and so the smoke wasn't as concentrated. Hence, I didn't smell that bad at the end of the day. Please note that the following is my personal opinion and preferance, so please don't come flame me for it.

 

I don't get why people club.

"To see and to be seen," someone told me.

"To destress! It's dark so people can't really see. You can dance anyway you want to!"

Point 2 contradicts point 1.

Point 2 is crap.

Yeah, it's dark, so no one can really see you properly and so even if you can't dance so nuts, you won't feel so embarrassed/stupid.

But dance?! Dance my ass. So far, the two clubs I've been to, DOX on Friday night (ladies' night) and MOS on Saturday night, were so crowded, you can barely dance. MOS was big, and as long as you escape from the main arena, where RnB was playing, it's not that bad. But if you're in the RnB area, you can just die walking through it. It's so crowded. Dance what!??? Plus, basically, more than half the people are just repeating the same moves over and over again, to different songs, and they do it fopr like..3, 4 hours straight. And at least half are just swaying. Dance? Hah.

I overheard someone saying, "It's so boring, why do you pay so much to come in and get squeezed around? You can't barely stand properly, how to dance?"

I agree, and wish to add: You pay so much, go in and get pushed around, get all hot and sweaty (in DOX), get stepped on and come out reeking of cigarette smoke like you're a cigarette butt itself. And I haven't gone on to the effects of secondhand smoke. Not that I'm against smoking/smokers. I have friends who smoke (I just found out about one yesterday), and I still love them. So long as they don't willfully expose me to secondhand smoke. XD I can wait for them to get their トバッコ or anything. But I have, since young, been very sensitive to strong smells..smoke, coffee scents, perfume scents..anything strong. It's something built into me by God.

So yes, it boils down to the crowd. Maybe it's because there are too little good clubs in Singapore, so everyone seems to go to the same few ones, making them really crowded. I wouldn't mind the crowds that much, if I can spot hot guys who can dance (By can dance I mean Ohno standards and by hot I mean Sho XD) or if they played good songs. The music is totally NOT my type. If only they played Jap!!! T.T I asked if we can go to St James Power Station instead, because I've read that they have mando music rooms as well, but then, I was told that "the crowd there is older.." You get what I mean. A few of my pals are ageist. Oh well..

Aniwaes, I do think that I'm getting to mad for my own good. I had a guy friend with us yesterday, and for that one moment, I had this totally irrational thought tin my mind. "Ahh..what if he was sho/jun? Then I'll want to hook his arms (Because my other pals were hooking arms and I was kinda 'free')" It's scary..this thought...

But then again, why would Sho be there? The last time I went to DXO, I kept looking at the second storey while swaying to the music at the dance floor below. I had the Yes?No? music playing in my head and the ONE performance of this song was flashing before my eyes. And then I thought, "If Sho was here, he'll never be down here dancing. He'll be up there, sitting silently and sipping his glass of alcohol." XD It was something like this yesterday. We reached MOS early and it was pretty empty. Fresh air, cooling aircon..that was how I'd like the club to be when I dance. And so, I smsed Angeline to fangirl a little.

"Next time when Sho/Jun wants to ask me out to club, it'll be very tough on their pockets, because they'll have to book the entire club for me!"
