I finished watching it! OMG it's so good.
I was crying a lot, especially in the last 2 discs. A lot. I was touched by the love so many people showered HD with-his father, his friends, YS, and ultimately, HY. HY was the only suitable donor eligibile for a liver transplant but he has got heart problems, meaning that his life may be at risk if her were to undergo a transplantation operation. As such, when HD was told that HY was the donor, he refused to undergo the operation. And then, the heartwarming scene came. HY persuaded HD to accept the operation, saying that he was the only suitable donor and that also means that he is HD's one and only brother. The blood ties they share cannot be replaced. And HD finally admits how much he admires HY, although he is unwilling to admit it, and that if only one out of the two of them can survive, he wants that person to be HY. Eventually, HY persuaded HD and said that if heaven makes it so that only one of them can survive, that person has to live on strongly and live the lives of two people!
HY is the perfect man.
Right up till the end, you see him being so sacrificial, just so he can give JD and HD their happiness. He is so selfless!
There were many other scenes where I cried, but I'm just elaborating on a few which I can remember more clearly.
I was really hit when HD yelled to JD over the phone. "Come over right now!!" JD (at work): I'm at work. I'll go over after work. HD: Come over right now! If you love me, come over right now. He had just found out that he was suffering from the Wilson disease and his liver is failing. That tone he used when he yelled that last line was so emtional! And later, he picked himself, accepting the medical treatment because he wants to live on, for JD's sake...Despite that, he was later told that the treatment didn't work and that his liver was failing. If he can't find a suitable liver donor soon, his life will be in danger. He was really hit by that. Sure that he would die, he did annoying things to his friends and even to JD, so that they will remember him. Those were really childish acts, but I didn't get mad at him. I just felt really sorry for him. For the HD with such a pure heart..the HD who just found his love...
He didn't want JD to feel hurt when he leaves the world and so he treated her rather badly to drive her away. However, each time he tries to push JD away, JD struggles to hold on to him. Because of that, HD finds himself being unable to truly push JD away. The hardest blow came at the party which HD organised. He told his friends as well as HY that the party was intended to be a surprise proposal party for JD. However, it was actually all an act he asked YS to put up with him. At the party, he held out a diamond ring to JD, and everyone was waiting for his proposal. However, he eventually backed off, saying that he can't make himself propose to JD because it is YS he loves all the while. YS, who knew about HD's illness, played along. HD says that YS had made him hold the party because she wants him to forget her, but he just can't do it. He kissed YS and threw the ring into the pool. JD dived in to retrieve it. You can see how painful HD iwas feeling inside, but he beared with it and went into the house with YS.
Of course, JD is hurt. However, a part of her still believes that HD didn't do it on purpose, that the meaner he appeared to be, the more fragile he was at the moment. She went to YS's house to wait for HD, and to ask him for an explanation. (HD had moved into YS's house then) However, she later found out that HD was hospitalised because of his illness. She rushed to the hospital and stood by HD, asking him not to make his own decisions. She wants to spend each moment with him, no matter what the final outcome is.
And the final outcome?
I was crying all the way, right till 20 seconds before the ending. Yes, even up till that point, I was crying because I found more reasons to cry then to smile. I was misled into thinking that the ending would be tragic. Although I've always heard that the ending would be good and that no main character would die, I was worried that those were not true. Up till the last 1 min, I was led into thinking that HY died. About 15 secs, later, I started to think that HD died. It was only until the last 20 secs that I realised that HD didn't die. >_<
Well, in the end, YS finally let go of HY and went off alone. HY is still single. HD and JD ended up together, of course.
This is such a rollercoaster ride. The second half of the series is so intense and packed with action. I really feel that this is a lot better then DBY as well as ISWAK. I'm hoping that the vcd release will not affect the ratings in tw because the episodes are so good, they deserve to receive high viewership. Really. I'm trying to upload the episode for Helen so she can watch. I'm sure that she will not share it with others. I don't want to indirectly cause viewership to fall. I love those who upload, really! It does everyone a big favour. But on the flip side, viewership ratings may be affected...It's two conflicting interest! Well, Divshare is working so slowly...should I convert the file format? O.o
I'm watching it.

Mike has really improved in his acting.
Larger range of emotions and expressions, more depth...
It's so good, I ditched my hw to watch it.

I actually composed this entry last night, but vox couldn't let me post this as a public post for some weird reason...but now I can, so here you go!
Save me. I've gone without sleep for...(omg it took me like 20 sec to calculate O.o) 42 hours...To think I'm still very sick. >_< Aniwaes, not in a clear state of mind right now, so pardon any typos/blabbering.
I bought the WWL photobook!! YES! It was out at Kino today (yesterday)! About 24 SGD, but the book is THICK and BIG..bigger than the Arashi AAA and the ISWAK one..loads of pictures..LOADS man. Very worth the buy, really. Loads of contents and even a "behind the scene" section..one of the best drama photobook I've seen. Then it came with stickers and postcards which are only found with the first press version. XP
Aniwaes, I haven't got a chance to really read it yet..will do so when I'm more energetic. But what I did was to browse through it and grab hold of some scenes which have not aired yet. I captured the pictures using my dear digicam. NO WAY am I ever putting any books into any scanner. T.T So the pictures ain't crisp clear..but well, my intention is to share the plot development, not the graphics, so who cares. Aniwaes, I made some effects so the pictures won't look so pixelated and ugly.
My first time doing scanlations, so don't mind them looking so...weird ne?
I'm watermarking them all, because I don't want any unhappiness to arise again, and well, I always do that for my artwork and scans...this is no different. The only difference is that the watermarks I put are really huge. I've never put them so big and so visible before. Well, all the better for those blind to red fonts.

Okay, time for my bed...I need to catch up with 2 days' worth of sleep..but I need to be awake in 7 hours' time, for driving! ah..driving..something scary happened during driving earlier..I'll update more tomorrow! Nitez people..
I was creating the strips for ep 7 when I remembered that WWL's ep 8 (by tv cutting) was airing at 10!! And so I started a frantic search for a website to watch it, real-time. Thanks to the bunch of people at the forum, I managed to watch it! THE NET IS AN AMAZING THING! If oly we could do the same for Jdoramas. T.T And yes, just to watch it, I even d/l-ed a program...which I don't usually do. >_<""'
Well, I've been on a 'capping mission' and so, while this is entirely unplanned, I'm posting up some caps from the episode. I've translated the lines inside the caps too. The quality of the caps ain't very good and I'll most prob redo them when I get my vcd. Howver, the main aim of this batch of caps isn't for graphic purposes, so just close one eye ne.
Basically, I've only capped the interesting scenes and made sure that I included the whole conversation that was taking place, so people who didn't get to catch it yet or those who don't understand Mandarin can understand. (Now we understand how it's like to watch entire series without subs ne. XD Having said that, please note that I didn't cap anything that had been showed in the "episode 8 preview" clip shown last week.

How could Huo Da say that to Jia Di? It was really mean..maybe he didn't mean for it to sound that way, but it really hurt.
If you really treat her as a friend, you won't say such things of her no matter how angry you are. You made it sound like Jia Di was something undesirable!!!
And the last 3rd cap made me really mad. Huo Da, if you don't do something really, really sweet for Jia Di soon, I'll be rooting for Huo Ya already! (although I know it'll be HD x JD in the end).

=) I got my TIME albums from Angeline dear today. But I've not opened them yet. I don't think I'll be opening them. Lazy~ I take me 5 mins to open one, and another 5 to put it back nicely. argh....I'll just asked Angeline to send me rips XD
Bought the Mayday album today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The one with 3 new songs, 3 remixes, and 12 songs recorded live from their concert. (The one which I missed because no one wanted to go with me!!! MAYDAY is so talented, and their concerts are VERY HIGH. Like Arashi's, just without the dancing...but, none of my friends wanna go!! sighz) Yes, for that 3 songs, I bought the album! The songs are good yo. And the thing is, it costed just 16 SGD. We asked, and Arashi's TIME LE (second batch, because the 1st batch got sold out already! YAY!) will arrive in 2 weeks' time and costs 80 SGD. I can buy like...5 Mayday albums =P
I uploaded Mayday's 離開地球表面! Very nice!! Listen to it ne.
AHHH the live recorded version of their songs..so beautiful..in some of the songs, I could hear the fans singing along. If only Arashi has got such albums as well!
I will buy the Leehom album when the version with the autograph entrance pass comes out, as usual. And usually, after attending the autograph session, I won't listen to the album for a month, because I usually go 3 or 4 hours beforehand, and get to hear the same album being played for numerous times, until I can memorise the songs already!
Aniwaes, busy day today, but I will still post my beloved screencaps! I made them yesterday, because I knew that I won't have time to today. Not as much as the previous eps, just 230 caps, 38 strips. =) I'm so happy, because Melissa says she'll give the drama a shot!

I just watched Leehom's MV for his new song 落叶归根 (The fallen leaves return to their roots). It's good. The song has got a..very peaceful, 70s feel to it. I can imagine it being a theme song for a drama based in that period, and the male lead looking for the female all over the streets, while wearing a straw hat. I need to go back to Leehom abit, I'm feeling guilty for neglecting him and Mayday. But yappari it's still Arashi at ichiban!

I melted when I saw how disappointed 惡少 looked when he thought 嘉蒂 helped him with his exams for 霍彥's sake, like that evil woman HMPF. But then, he looked so genuinely happy when 嘉蒂 told him otherwise. =)
But it was so sad to see him trying to put up a brave front when 嘉蒂 bid him farewell. The both of them. They were both putting up a brave front!!
@ ailaMarie: I think she got angry with him (haven't rewatched to see if she slapped him) because she was too shocked? Futhermore, maybe she felt that he kissed her because he wanted to keep her quiet and not because he liked him, which was what he said later on when he apologised...(although I highly doubt so...)
