OH MY GOSH.
=) After working hard at something (more about it later), I decided to check my results for the last Special Term. Results were available online from 12 midnight but I was busy with something so I checked it just now, while waiting for pictures to be uploaded.
For Korean Level 1 (which was darn easy since Korean had vocab that sounded a lot like Mandarin and grammar similar to Japanese), I scored A+!!!!!! So, is that a hint that I should just forget about taking Jap next semester and just continue with Korean Level 2 instead? Honestly speaking, that sounds like a very good idea to me. I've totally got no morale for studying Japanese now.
Now then, what was I busy with?

It has been a long while since I last worked on photoshop for so long! I spent like half a day on photoshop although I had told myself to study Japanese. crap.

Because it took me very long to finish this, it's n-locked and scaled into smaller dimensions. I think it looks nicer bigger, so click on it for a slightly bigger view! DO NOT REPOST WITHOUT MY PERMISSION, even if you give credit.
- I really love Shin's hair, in the manga, anime as well as the live-action. However, while doing this vector, I hated his hair. It was the part which took most of my time as I had to lasso his hair strand by strand., while leaving space to outline his hair in black. O.o My eyes started seeing dots (since the original scan had his hair filled with dots).
- Shin's hair colour here follows the manga/anime.
- I managed to sneak in a bit of Jun-Shin. XP The purple sweatshirt!! Jun's colour!
- Is the pinkish tint on Yankumi's cheek because of her injuries or is it because of the kiss? What do you think?
- Is this good enough proof that I love love LOVE shinkumi and gokusen?
- Is this good enough proof that I hate hate HATE to revise for the placement test?
=) I've finally read the 2008 SP...and well, the highlight of the SP is this kiss. I've always enjoyed reading about shinkumi goodness, rated or otherwise, via fanfics. However, I didn't enjoy this kiss as much as I had expected to. In fact, I was kind of freaked out! Maybe it's because the kiss was too..tender.
I'd prefer it to start off as a humourous thing, with Shin suddenly turning serious and then Yankumi freaking out. The he kisses her. Caught off-guard and embarrassed, Yankumi ends the scene by saying/doing/saying and doing something dense. That's my perfect kiss scene for them. This one seemed...too out of character for Yankumi.
WHATEVER! SHINKUMI KISS!!!!!!! At least the mangaka understands our needs. XP
Oh, I was still pondering if I should watch Zettai Kareshi, after all the posts from Jen...and then I stumbled upon this post with really awesome caps of ep 1...So I've decided to watch it, just for Mokomichi's sake! Jen said that the ending sucks..so...I'll be mentally prepared.
Ok, I've gotta sleep already. Have to go shopping for STUPID non-black skirt suit tomorrow and study two days' worth of Jap. cya around, people!
I got sick of Korean so here I am, posting about my favourite song of the moment. I haven't even watched G3 yet! It gives me the very jumpy feeling. The lyric is beautiful and the whole song suits the whole Gokusen theme, just as V6's Feel Your Breeze and D51's No More Cries did.

I can't even find a (superficial) reason to watch.
Well, will have to wait for the cast to be confirmed first before I decide whether to give it a miss.
Since it doesn't have Shin, it had better have a good plot. (I would have played doube standards and accepted another similiar plot if they brought Shin back LOL)
[EDIT] I may still watch it, but with less zest, because I do miss Yankumi. I miss Shinkumi most, followed by Shin and then Yankumi. XP I missed Sawatari kyoutou too! His hair and expression, and his hidden concern for Yankumi. <3 Oh well, at least they're brining him and the Oedo clan back....

Went out with my arashi family on Saturday. Here are the pictures:
Us outside Cineleisure at Orchard. I had wanted to take photos of the KimuTaku poster but was too paiseh because there were so many people over there! So after much pleading, my three mates agreed to 'pose for a picture'. XDD

Aniwaes, LOOK man LOOK! How big is that poster?!?!?! Ok not really that big, because I've seen much bigger ones of Arashi, KATTUN, SMAP etc in Japan, and I've heard from this dj on mtv channel that when he went to Japan previously, he could see a huge poster of Jun in Bambino hanging on the building opposite when he looks out of the window. The poster was said to be at least 4/5 storeys high!!! *faints*
But then, to have a jap endorse something in Singapore is something BIG ne.
But I finally threw away all my fears when we left the building after spending a few hours inside (see below for more details). XDDD omg lah look at this! Since when have you seen advertising of this scale in Singapore featuring a Jap artiste?? Oh well, I can't complain, since the majority of Singaporeans seems to be stll stuck in the early millenium that Kimura is the hottest Jap artiste. I agree that he is hot (Wait for me to dig out this urber hot photoshoot of him in Singapore's UWeekly and post it here!) but there are also other mentionable artistes! (You know who I'm refering to ne)
So I was like, "WAH He is hot!"
Angeline remarked, "Go tear it down later and bring it home!"
Me, "Nonono..later the police come catch me! I'll wait till Arashi's famous enough to be on commercials in Singapore, then take the risk to steal their posters!"
Ok as mentioned above, I spent a couple of hours in Cine with my arashi family, at this shop called Mise x*clusive, more commonly called "The JE Shop". Our usual hangout. XD The owner can even remember us already! Aniwaes, I saw this back issue of POPOLO 2002/3 and had wanted to buy it, but then just as I took it off the shelves, Yen took it from me and the rest was history. *cries a litre of tears* While we were in the shop, the tv inside was playing HIG con! And the first thing we saw was Sho's solo "Touch Me Now". I was never s fan of the song nor the performance, because it was too sensual for my liking then. But then, OMG I don't know what's wrong with me man! I suddenly felt that Sho was darn hot when he does that action - lifting the bottom of his tee slightly using his index fingers and then bringing his finger to his lips, all in one smooth action. O.O And that got me to dig out this unofficial photo of him, which I had bought out of impulse 1/2 weeks ago:
Don't you agree?? Sho is hot! XD My camera does him no justice. (I need to get a scanner man!) But like what Tery (大野さん) said, he was behaving a little like a man-whore in the performance. It was a little, but I just like that finger movement omg! Peek-a-boo!

Jolie bought a lot of things from mise, and one of what was this ring file which had been there for very long! After seeing what was inside, I was regreting not buying!! I had thought that it was just a file with the guy's photos on the cover. But NO! There were dividers inside, and on the dividers were individual photos! This was what made me regret:

By the way, I've decided to make full use of this vox and post some stuff here as well, other than just graphics, hence this post. XD I don't think I should expose my 'normal' friends to any Arashi related fangirl rants anymore (which they've gotten so used to already, they just skip it. XP)
Instead of going to Tery's place for Arashi dvd marathon yesterday, I went to MOS with my pals. >_< It was my second try at clubbing, and as expected, I hate it. ARGH. The only thing which I felt was better this time was that the place was much bigger than DXO, and so the smoke wasn't as concentrated. Hence, I didn't smell that bad at the end of the day. Please note that the following is my personal opinion and preferance, so please don't come flame me for it.
I don't get why people club.
"To see and to be seen," someone told me.
"To destress! It's dark so people can't really see. You can dance anyway you want to!"
Point 2 contradicts point 1.
Point 2 is crap.
Yeah, it's dark, so no one can really see you properly and so even if you can't dance so nuts, you won't feel so embarrassed/stupid.
But dance?! Dance my ass. So far, the two clubs I've been to, DOX on Friday night (ladies' night) and MOS on Saturday night, were so crowded, you can barely dance. MOS was big, and as long as you escape from the main arena, where RnB was playing, it's not that bad. But if you're in the RnB area, you can just die walking through it. It's so crowded. Dance what!??? Plus, basically, more than half the people are just repeating the same moves over and over again, to different songs, and they do it fopr like..3, 4 hours straight. And at least half are just swaying. Dance? Hah.
I overheard someone saying, "It's so boring, why do you pay so much to come in and get squeezed around? You can't barely stand properly, how to dance?"
I agree, and wish to add: You pay so much, go in and get pushed around, get all hot and sweaty (in DOX), get stepped on and come out reeking of cigarette smoke like you're a cigarette butt itself. And I haven't gone on to the effects of secondhand smoke. Not that I'm against smoking/smokers. I have friends who smoke (I just found out about one yesterday), and I still love them. So long as they don't willfully expose me to secondhand smoke. XD I can wait for them to get their トバッコ or anything. But I have, since young, been very sensitive to strong smells..smoke, coffee scents, perfume scents..anything strong. It's something built into me by God.
So yes, it boils down to the crowd. Maybe it's because there are too little good clubs in Singapore, so everyone seems to go to the same few ones, making them really crowded. I wouldn't mind the crowds that much, if I can spot hot guys who can dance (By can dance I mean Ohno standards and by hot I mean Sho XD) or if they played good songs. The music is totally NOT my type. If only they played Jap!!! T.T I asked if we can go to St James Power Station instead, because I've read that they have mando music rooms as well, but then, I was told that "the crowd there is older.." You get what I mean. A few of my pals are ageist. Oh well..
Aniwaes, I do think that I'm getting to mad for my own good. I had a guy friend with us yesterday, and for that one moment, I had this totally irrational thought tin my mind. "Ahh..what if he was sho/jun? Then I'll want to hook his arms (Because my other pals were hooking arms and I was kinda 'free')" It's scary..this thought...
But then again, why would Sho be there? The last time I went to DXO, I kept looking at the second storey while swaying to the music at the dance floor below. I had the Yes?No? music playing in my head and the ONE performance of this song was flashing before my eyes. And then I thought, "If Sho was here, he'll never be down here dancing. He'll be up there, sitting silently and sipping his glass of alcohol." XD It was something like this yesterday. We reached MOS early and it was pretty empty. Fresh air, cooling aircon..that was how I'd like the club to be when I dance. And so, I smsed Angeline to fangirl a little.
"Next time when Sho/Jun wants to ask me out to club, it'll be very tough on their pockets, because they'll have to book the entire club for me!"
